Art Show at the Grinder to Benefit Wild Gift

Enjoy an evening of good company,
refreshments and holiday shopping on November
23rd from 5-8 pm at the Coffee Grinder and
Gallery in Ketchum during the opening of the
Exhibition “Sensual Poppies”, featuring the art work of
Steven Padgitt.

Padgitt is a regional Idaho artist who has shown his
art work in Boise, McCall, Sand Point and now the Sun
Valley area. His art and framing studios are located in
his self-designed rustic Asian straw-bale off-the-grid
home in McCall, where he calls home.

Padgitt's artistic work spans photo-impressionist and
multimedia categories. With a passion for all
things living, he presents unique, lively and colorful
visions for those who view and enjoy his work.

Poppies came into his focus this past spring and
will be celebrated in his exhibition. While flowers
are often the subject of his attention, as in this show, Padgitt also has a collection of trees in winter and abstracts coming from many forms in

His canvas works range from his new 14”x11” Scroll Series designed to be highly portable and
affordable, to 8’x6’ four-panel room dividers connected with bidirectional shoji hinges. All
wall-hung works in the exhibition will be on canvas and framed, ranging from single images at
30”x24” and 24”x36” to a Triptych measuring 6’x4’.

Part of the proceeds from the artwork will benefit the Sun Valley based nonprofit Wild
Gift. Inspired by the wilderness, Wild Gift empowers better world entrepreneurs to create
businesses, ideas and projects that can change the world. Since its foundation in 2001, Wild
Gift has mentored 39 new leaders, launching projects in worldwide in the areas of education,
agriculture, renewable energy, community development and land preservation. These Leaders
