Fellow Marty Schnure Creates First Map And Guide To The Future Patagonia National Park

Wild Gift Fellow Marty Schnure combines her passions for the outdoors and design into one goal: creating beautiful maps that allow her and others to explore the world. Her Wild Gift social venture, Maps for Good, produces maps for organizations and individuals whose work is good for communities and good for the planet. She uses multimedia communication tools that empower and propel her client's work.
Before co-founding Maps For Good, Marty worked as a cartographer at National Geographic Maps and National Geographic Magazine. Last year, she received a National Geographic Young Explorer grant to create the first map and guide to the future Patagonia National Park in southern Chile. After 9 months of hard work in the field, the maps are now ready to purchase! You can buy the map, along with her expedition photo prints (stunning) at mapsforgood.org  Way to go, Marty!
